These hives are perfect for the home gardener or home orchardist.  A Home Garden Hive will contain approx. 50 worker bees and a Queen.
 
Its best to use a home garden hive in the spring and summer, unless you have a glasshouse or protected environment to locate it.
 
Each hive is guaranteed to last for between 4-6 weeks. The hive will naturally die off at this stage. If there is plenty of food resource around the hive may last up to 12 weeks.  At the end of the life cycle new queens will emerge and set up new colonies nearby.
 
The hive will be couriered direct to you from the producers – Zonda Beneficials in Auckland.
